    I had the same reaction. Under the circumstances, it probably gave us the best shot to win.

    I think it was Prassas.

    My oldest watched the game with me, and I told her earlier in the game that it felt like an old WAC shootout where the last team with the ball would win. OSU has a history of playing that type of game, too.

    Didn't read the thread until now. Was too busy hugging and high fiving strangers. I had complete confidence we would win hence the title. My faith only wavered once...on that 4th and 7.

    Ha, same. I went from “nice run to the sideline” to “what’s he doing?” to “he just covered a third of the field” over the course of that one.

    Yep. Final drive was good Jake. Most of the game was bad Jake. But good Jake was just good enough. The step up into the collapsing pocket to drop the dime to Lassiter was the stuff of legends.

    Very true. I was very displeased when he turned inside instead of running OB but he then picked up 20 critical yards to set up the final play. I'm glad he's playing and not me. A drive for the ages.
