What a fun game! Echoes of K-State.

Yeah, we sure seemed to give up most 3rd downs, but we got stingy in the red zone, and we have a greedy defense. Love all the turn-overs. This is a fun defense to watch play and a huge reason for the 6-0 start.

    6 and oh, baby!

I refuse to look ahead. I am focused solely on the next opponent. Bring on Okie State!

This was such a fun broadcast. It is so much fun having Gus Johnson and Joel klatt as options for coverage. I really enjoyed the discussion about Lavell's coaching tree and the impact that Lavell and BYU had on football, offense and defense, college and pro, down to the coaches of the back to back super bowl champs and the current no. 1 cfb team. I love football, but I'm not very knowledgeable about it, so the in depth discussion was super interesting to me. Like Klatt said, I could have listened to Steve Young talk about those connections for hours. Yes I loved it because it was about BYU, but I also loved the fact that we are playing in a conference, and in a game, against an opponent, in a prime TV slot on Saturday, on a major network, with a major, advertisement-boosted audience, with a lot of hype and a historic start to the season, and playing as well as were, in a uniquely beautiful setting, that allowed all this to happen.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Dig your own grave, and save!

I'm ready to believe this is a very good team that can beat anyone on their schedule. I had predicted losses to UCF and Utah. UCF seems to have big problems and I'm changing that one to a W. Utah feels like the most likely place the streak could end and ASU now looks like the other toss-up.

It's a rivalry game, so anything can happen.

Mike Leach should have been on that.

That was a fun game. We were in the north stands roasting to death, but nothing a couple of refillable sodas and some regular trips to the stadium underbelly couldn’t fix. I actually pulled a Bo and went and stood up on the back row and let the breeze cool me down.

After that first drive by AZ, when there were receivers wide open all over the field, I felt like it might be a long day. Fortunately we started putting some pressure on Fifita and that seemed to change things.

Very fun game, and a great one to take the whole family to.

I noticed those in the south end zone above the band were shaded by the scoreboard.

On Saturday afternoon, BYU handled Arizona 41-19 to improve to 6-0 on the season. This is just the sixth time in program history that BYU has started 6-0 and th

I don't know where or how Casey Lundquist over at SI (not nearly what it used to be) is getting his PFF grades for the BYU players. For the win over Arizona, he doesn't list the actual grade numbers, but has Retzlaff second on his list. Maybe his list is now not in any particular order?

So, instead I'm posting the numbers from the Arizona vs. BYU Review | PFF Grade Release Show

                              1. LB Isaiah Glasker - 82.9
                              2. CB Jakob Robinson - 77.2
                              3. WR Chase Roberts - 74.7
                              4. RB LJ Martin - 73.5
                              5. OT Brayden Keim - 70.3
QB Jake Retzlaff - 71.1 - I think they always list the QB even if he wasn't in the top 5.

Arizona's QB Noah Fifita got a 46.1. Ouch.

                              Stat That Told the Story:
BYU: 5.4 yards per carry. That's pretty nice because in my head it has (before this game) seemed like our run game has just sucked.
                              Noah Fifita: 43.0 Passing grade

                              Most Impressive:
                              BYU Secondary
                              BYU Offensive Line
