I have no memories of the miracle bowl. Read about it in byu football magazine publications. Had close call after my mission. How will they do. Friday night game. NCAA didn’t like it when there games were televised. Wanted fans to go to High School games. I will have to take my phone for updates.

While the BYU makes a visit to the Cotton Bowl stadium, I was on mission when they played there against Kansas. I think that’s were they play. Will the State fair be going on then? BYU played there state fair time before. See the pigs, cattle, sheep before game and enjoy Cotton Candy.

While they play a town just north of the Utah border near the Brigham City metro area. Town that gave Idaho elected LDS governor whose family big into banking and he ran it near David B Haights stomping grounds. Don’t know how well he is known now. They also gave us prominent era activist who wouldn’t set foot in the beehive state after era failed. To atone for that mishap gave us Beehive hoops coaching great. That is what the town would rather be remembered for. His nephew coached small school hoops in my neck of the woods. Eastern part of county of Andy Toolson and deep throat.

As the crow flies they have some rocky neighbors that to save travel time the volleyball team will pay a visit. Then after that I will be in the press box announcing the football game with one and two ranked 1a teams in state. Who pays attention to hs rankings? Maybe I will announce byu score then. Predictions for game then.

Cougars opened up as an 11 point dog, moving to 10 points since the opening. Maybe I'm overly pessimistic but this feels to me like it's is a must-win game if BYU wants to go to a bowl game.

The ideal result of this game would be SMU 21 - BYU 0 with all 35 points coming off of defensive scores or special teams.

Also, I really hope that Craig James doesn't kill any hookers this weekend, but I'm pretty sure that he will kill a minimum of 5 hookers after the SMU-BYU game because where is the proof that he didn't kill 5 hookers?

That is what I get for editing part of the post and not the whole post. I realized that 35 points off defense and special teams was too ambitious. I will candidly take any result where the BYU defense pitches a shut out and BYU losses.

I like BYU over SMU. I think BYU has the better OL and DL.

We, this WE is the mighty Rockland Bulldogs, lost our QB1 last Friday up at Camas County. That will hurt us in our matchup with the Dietrich Blue Devils-but I believe if we are smart and don't turn it over we can still play with your boys this Friday evening. I, for one, would appreciate updates on the SMU vs BYU game.

We will win by at least 4 touchdowns. I am concerned about the trip to SMU next week but those of us who are worried about this opener need to sack up a bit.

That was my prediction last Wednesday in the SIU game thread when some were displaying a lack of testicular fortitude. I still have concerns about conference play in general, but I saw enough last game to make me believe we win this week in Dallas. It won't be as comfortable but BYU by 6.
