OK, a couple observations from last nights game, all experience/stadium related (and if its in the wrong category, my apologies, still unfamiliar with the format here and this is maybe my first or second post)
1) I am one of those upset with the change in policy regarding chairs . . I get it . .but I had chairs that took up no more room than those stupid rental ones and actually leaned back less than those stupid rental ones. But either BYU wants the rental income, or the people at the entry dont have the courage to tell someone their chair is too big. However thats apparently water under the bridge . . so here are my next 2 questions.
3) Fries and Shout was a solid addition to the inside the stadium food options. It may become a regular for our family. Any other places I need to check out? I am a west sider.
4) Like the new lights. I hope they do more with them.
5) I still think we have one of the better 4th quarter hypes around . . but I also think we could do even more making it bigger and louder. Bigger drums, or maybe more drums. Use the lights more. More fire dancers or more of those flame throwers that shoot fire straight up into the air.
6) Did the speakers sound muffled at the beginning . .or am I just getting that old.
7) I thought using the video game images of the players during introductions was silly. I preferred using actual video of the players . . but then I am now old and sitting with the blue hairs.
8) cougar tails are still a stale donut with mounds of maple frosting. They would be way better if they were not so stale.
Anyway, there are some of my useless observations, but I am really curious about cushions for my backside (legal, or prohibited), and how to keep my drink from spilling. Comments welcome.

a) Can you bring in a backless pad to sit on? or are those banned also?
b) My chair had this nice pocket that hung down in front and held my refillable drink. Never spilled a drink once the entire time I used my chair. Last night my drink spilled twice! I had it tucked underneath me against the wall . . and both times it tipped without me knowing. Nobody kicked it or anything, it just tipped I am guessing from natural vibrations created by crowds in the stadium. What are you guys using to keep your drinks standing up, or do you have to hold them the entire time?
2) Anyone else notice that the refillable cups are smaller this year? the bottom is also narrower . .probably leading to the tipping issue mentioned above.b) My chair had this nice pocket that hung down in front and held my refillable drink.
