The three matchups I am most excited to watch are:

    Baldwin vs Burton
    Romeus vs Cullen
    Dion Lewis vs Utahs linebackers
Those are my top three as well. I would add Krugar/Siliga vs. Pitts interior line as the match up I think will be pivotal at determining the winner of the game.

Utah almost has the perfect schedule this season. They begin with a high profile BCS opponent who is picked to win their conference. It is a home game and Pitt is breaking in a new QB. A win here would catapult them in the polls and create a little bit of buzz. They then play 6 creampuffs until they hit their next threat, Airforce. They finish the season with TCU, Notre Dame (a team with nation wide appeal and support) and BYU. I think it is a schedule that has the ability to keep them talked about in the press.

It certainly bodes well for the Utes. It's just a matter of avoiding injuries, gelling early and not losing focus of each game. TCU is going to be brutally tough despite being at home and the Y game will most likely be a typical rivalry game as of late with whichever team getting the win on some sort of late 4th qtr. miracle.

Three things I'm sure of regarding tomorrow night:

-Pitt will score on their opening drive.
-Wynn will throw for over 200 yards and have more TD's than INT's.
-A TE will have 3+ catches.

            And one bold prediction:
-Utah will have more QB sacks than Pitt.

I bet Wynn has a passer rating of <75.

i'm curious why? do you think that the O-line will not protect him? do you think that the receivers/tight ends will not play well?

Your OL should be fine this year. I just think Wynn will have a bad opening game and start slow. Maybe some sophomore slump. I don't think you'll see huge progress from him over last year this season. Just my feeling. Your ground game will get you through most of the season just fine though.

I also think that Wynn is going to suffer from Sophomore jinx. No doubt he'll get over it, but it will be costly. I think the rest of the team will probably make up for his deficiencies, so no biggie.

I think the other QB will be pretty sharp, but Ute fans don't want to hear it.

in his first career start against the Ute Defensive line in a loud RES? obviously it could happen, but i'm not so sure. then again i know nothing about him other than he is young.

i think that Wynn may struggle but i expect the jitters will wear off and he will play well after the first quarter. i am expecting a pound it out first quarter to establish the run game and it will therefore take Wynn some time to get into a groove throwing the ball, but once the passing game opens up into the second quarter, he will warm up.

i am interested to see what they do with vakapuna in this game - i like the things i'm hearing about him out of camp.

I'm not sure national media/Pitt fans are factoring in the altitude. I'd be more worried about Pitt in October/November, but I'm going to predict their D will look gassed in the second half tomorrow.

I am beginning to think that it could be a long night for John Cullen. Greg Romeus is freaking good. John Cullen needs to have a good night for the Utes to win this game. It is his first start and Romeus is a potential first rounder.

2 hours to kick off and i'm getting excited! couldn't be there, but my twin sister is there, so i'm activitating the twim portal and sensing it through her presence.... the atmosphere is going to be loud and exciting, i'm sure!

                                Go Utes!!!!!

Will the Utes start off establishing the run, or will they have Wynn throw it early to get things going hard and fast. I cant' wait to see what the game plan is, and i am excited to see how the defense plays in this game. This has all the makings of a very very very exciting game!

                                GO UTES!!!!!
