The Ducks have been to 4 BCS bowl games and lost 2 of them. Prior to that they hadnt won a Rose Bowl in about 90 years. They might want to start winning all of these games before declaring that they are not interested in them.

I dont get these guys, especially Green mamba. I like him and he has generally been all class, being very humble in the media when he had all the reasons in the world to be an arrogant jerk. But the last month or so has said some uncharacteristically stupid things. This is one of those moments again. If I had to guess, this viewpoint is not reflective of the majority of the Ducks squad nor their coach. Playing in the Rose is as prestigious as it gets. It should never get old to any PAC or B1G school.

Also, outside of the title game, this year's Rose Bowl (assuming Ducks/Lucks) will be the second most intriguing matchup of the bowl season. This is a chance for the Ducks to get some revenge for their 2010 loss and hand Urb his first defeat. It is a huge game and a huge stage. What's not to love about that?

Is the feeling around campus that he is gone after this season? I wonder if that may be contributing to his recent spell of uncharacteristic comments to the media. The thing that has made his talent so frustrating for opposing fans is that he is always really likable in his interviews, never once coming off the wrong way.

In my opinion, if things dont work out for the Ducks to get to the title game, I can't think of a game that Ducks players and fans should want more than a rematch with Ohio State. The Luckeyes will likely be an undefeated team when they run onto the field at the Rose Bowl. That is a huge matchup and an opportunity for a signature win.

I still wonder what could have been with Josh Huff. Why the hell didn't he keep his commitment to Utah. He would have never had to worry about crying over a loss at Utah, he would have been well accustomed to losing.
