I'm not selling Auburn. I think they won't be in the title game. That is why I think they will face Ohio St. in the Sugar Bowl..

PS: Thanks Sparty for making it a 4 team race for the Big Ten title..

Isn't that precisely why you would be selling (and not buying) them?

Ducks looked great. They're two steps a head of everyone else in CFB. A spot in the title game is theirs to lose. They're a fun team to watch.

HFN- I owe you; sorry we didn't get a chance to connect last week.

A great look at the firepower and efficiency of the Ducks offense:

55 points a game with only 26:46 in TOP? Sick.

yeah, UO just reminds me too much of two different OU squads that scored 50+ ppg through 12 games and against arguably tougher competition, only to get absolutely humiliated in the BCS title games. If Oregon can avoid the SEC, they may pull it off, though.

Unless the SEC team is Auburn. I think Auburn plays poor defense and is fairly one-dimensional on offense.

If Auburn somehow gets to the title game against Oregon, Oregon wins. It would be quite a game. I'm thinking 80 total points scored would be a legitimate point total.

If Oregon faces Bama, I'm not sure. I think I'd still pick Oregon, but they wouldn't score as many points.

Of course, Oregon could lose to Arizona or Oregon State and they drop out of the picture.
Still a lot of football to be played.

I was thinking about this, too. Auburn doesn't seem very SEC to me. OTOH, they're still pissed over being shut out of the title game almost ten years ago. OToOH, they don't even have the same coach from back then, so the potential for vindication is somewhat mitigated.

7 in a row over the helpless Huskies today. I imagine Don James is rolling over in his grave.

This is what my friends house looks like this morning.

Wow, the Huskies are showing some life on Defense, holding The Ducks to 3 points in 20 minutes. (I don't think that will continue...)

Once every decade or so a miracle occurs.

Washington played well for a quarter and a half. I'm not going to get all excited and say that Keith Price looks like the next Jake Locker, well I am sure he can lead them to 8 wins in 4 years but you know what I mean.

I don't think this team will be able to be held under 50 the rest of the way.

A quarter and a half is about a much as Washington has in them this year, sadly. Sarkisian deserves some success, if nothing else but for being by far the most likeable former Cougar.

Civil War is always a battle and a trap game. Luckily Arizona is at home. You are likely correct on the points.

So with Bama losing, how likely is an Oregon/XXXX matchup in the BCS NC game?
