  • Tressel: Hard to hate the guy..

After all the turmoil from Clarett, Tressel still goes to bat for him and helps him get back into college as well. Along with allowing him to use the Woody Hayes Facility..

You get me a national championship. I get you back in school.

    Seems fair.

But who is looking out for the boosters who open their wallets for Buckeye players??

Just kidding. For whatever reason, I've always thought Tressel was running a dirty program (with zero proof). Maybe it's the sweater vest.

I give it about two months before dabrockster is ready to hang Tressel for not running up the score against some hapless B10 team like Northwestern or Indiana.

Tressel is a class act and runs a clean program (well as clean as a big program can be these days). I've got a huge Buckeye fan that I work with and so I'm constantly getting tOSU updates and I'm impressed by the way Tressel handles his team and the atmosphere up there.

There is a fine line between turning a blind eye to recruiting/booster violations and trying to help a kid out that has never had help in his life. Tressel seems to walk that fine line pretty well meaning he helps kids but usually doesn't fall too much in the gray area that puts the actions in doubt with NCAA rules.

Oh, and that PI on the 4th down play against Miami was not PI.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Remember. Craig Krenzel was the leading rusher for that game.. NOT Clarett..

            Buhhh.. Me???

I have always thought it was time for him to relinquish the play calling duties. I stand by that still.. It IS my only frustration with him...

            You had to go there..

And I will always respond with. Miami had TON of chances to punch it in and couldn't get it done...

              It's probably the success.
