I'm sure the $1.8 Mil. contract from Chicago helped ease the pain. I've known the guy and his family for years, you won't find a more humble person out there. Wasn't a perfect kid by any means (if you remember he had to delay enrollment for similar reasons... along with the rough crowd he was a spending time with towards the end of High School), but I love his loyalty to the Cougars.

Just another Poly-Back heading to the NFL from BYU, stretching it out to four straight backs (Tahi, Vakapuna, Tonga, Unga). Now if Quezada can keep up the tradition (half Samoan) I'll be a happy camper.

His run, or was it a pass, against Arizona as a freshman where he was almost down and wooop! and his throat slashing tirade to the Ute bench in last year's rivalry game. Bookend memories of one of the greatest BYU careers. I don't care how many commandments he breaks, in my book he gets to heaven!

Forgot about the throat slashing. Awesome.

My problem with Emma is how others deal with her history. But can anyone argue that 3 1000 yard rushing seasons at the BYU is not the pinnacle of being a mormon man?

I think Brigham took throat slashing duties (SNAP!)

My family takes a lot of pride in coaxing him to do the Macho folding arms pose after a TD last year. He literally was so approachable, and willing to have fun out there. Forgot about the throat slash... good times, good times. From what I hear Chicago wants him to sit the full year, for the first time since probably... ever... so he can finally, fully heal. My brothers are saying he gets a lot of love from the Bears.

I wish Harvey would have played for Utah.

Sure he would be playing LB, but he'd have had a great shot at being taken in the first 3 rounds of the NFL draft after this season.

And we could use a seasoned Sr. linebacker this year.

Harvey would be six years removed from HS this year. Had he gone to Utah I doubt he would have taken the first year off. Even with a redshirt he would have been a senior last year.

For the record, he "hated" you people. HATED!

Doubt he would've taken a position change. In high school they didn't want him to play running back... but he wouldn't give up. I wouldn't worry about your Utes man. Whittinghams system makes almost any player look good ,and good players look great at that spot.

But when you talk talented Linebackers in the same thread as BYU and dismisses... I just keep my fingers crossed that Kyle Van Noy, who looks amazing, can keep it all together... dude looks like a star in the making.
