I read somewhere that the new clock rules were supposed to result in 7 fewer plays for each team, on average, and the ostensible reason was for "safety" - to reduce wear and tear and concussion risk and all that kind of stuff.

I saw something on the ticker during one of the games yesterday that said the MWC has reached out to the PAC 2 (WSU and OSU) about joining and OSU’s President said something about wanting to preserve the PAC name. Can you imagine? “Sure, we’ll join your conference after every other one said no thanks, but only if you rename it with our failed brand”.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
