I admit to being unusually pessimistic about tonight's game. I think SHS brings back nearly everyone from a very good team last year, and with a skilled, experienced quarterback. That experience coupled with a considerable lack thereof at key positions for BYU causes concern, esp. if SHS were to jump out to an early lead. i fervently hope my worries are unfounded. That said, I'm equally nervous for my freshman granddaughter (PH's kid) who surprised everyone by learning to play the piccolo in the past couple of months so she could join the BYU Marching Band. She'll be on the field tonight. She's a great kid and I hope her introduction to BYU Athletics is.a very happy one.

to be fair, they weren't very good last year. They were FCS great 2 years ago.

Yeah, they redshirted a bunch of players in preparation for FBS transition, but those bunch of players were still FCS recruits.
