I'm very tempted to take the road dog in this one. I hate the matchup in the trenches for us. Baylor has one of the best O-line's in the nation and based on the dudes I saw us roll out there last Saturday, I would think we have to have one of the worst. Names like Mitchell, Nelson, Mangelson, Jackson getting a ton of snaps (sincerely sorry if this is anyone's family on this board). Those guys are going to get pushed around and I have a hard time seeing us stopping the run. Throw in some standard issue Q-Hall 195th ward elders in the secondary like Slade, Boren, and Hannemann, and the only way I see BYU winning is in a shootout. Love our O-line and love our TE duo and their ability to open up the middle. Sounds like Puka is a go, but Gunner is a no-go. Take Baylor and the points and let's hope we squeak out a thriller.

I ain't skeered! Speaking strictly dollars and sense. The nice thing about being a big BYU football apostate is I can place bets without emotion

Presumably you're talking about the BYU DL being one of the worst, right? The way it's written, it seems like you're impugning the OL (which you later claim you love).

          That's probably the smart bet.

Yes, absolutely. Meant BYU's D-line. Can't believe it was as bad as it was last year and we're not only trotting out the same guys, but even more unknown walk-ons. Should've hit the portal hard. They had some great wins on the D-line in recruiting last year, but not sure you can count on true freshman to turn things around ... and then one of the biggest recruits blew an ACL in Spring.

I think offensively we will be OK. I just hope the D holds up enough.

I'm much less confident than I was 24 hours ago. I was hopeful they would both play and our offense is much more dangerous with them both on the field.

Why can't we keep skill talent healthy?
