I looked for tickets. Game around $40, however if I fly from Twin over $1000 Hailey or Boise around 6 Grand. Two or three nights of hotels two or three hundred dollars. Since it is starvation Sunday next day no continental breakfast. No one will remember me as missionary but reason to go back were I served. I haven’t been back to mission since I served there. Trip expensive. Third base in Palm Harbor members fee missionaries for free there. Don’t know if they still own the pizza place or not.
We we’re not allowed to go to athletic events on my mission. Some could. I don’t know if the missionaries will be there or not. My brother was in Alabama when BYU came to town and mo had tickets, Monte Brought Area President said no though.
Firsy Zone leader was stickler to rules, goal to be ap and he was. Don’t have speck in Apartment, do study at desk, don’t get in 9:31 and don’t stay 61 minutes for dinner. Don’t pick up things at grocery store or retail store on non l day. Needed stamp for letter to president but said going to store to get it was illegal.Wanted to see how dedicated he was so could,be an asshole about rules. Good person but strict letter of law missionary. Florida football is seriously and one Friday night game was taking place,
I jokingly said tempting to watch hs game. And all opened handbook about participating in or sponsoring musical groups or activity games and by paying money to hs game we are sponsoring them. Of course I said that in jest. Drove by High School games and watched a few plays from behind fence. Missionaries in some places have attended college and pro games. Mission by mission rule. I’ve seen missionaries at Hs games here too.
