I'm still marveling at the Allgeieir strip, one of the greatest defensive plays in BYU history. The fact that despite being pretty beat up at the point, and stumbling early on during the INT return, he caught up to the guy and delivered a Tyson-like punch to the ball. It probably saved the game. Weird that a pass play for a negative 50+ yards could be such a positive.
I like this Allgeier quote from a few weeks ago “It's a religious school. I'm not LDS, but I actually felt the spirit and I thought it was the right choice for me to come here.” I felt the spirit (or at least a spirit) last night, too.Comment
