I have considered your post from earlier today. You are now my broker. Please buy up as much BYU as possible!Originally posted by Viking View PostGolly gee, guys do you think the B12 is doing this so as to not leave any doubt in the minds of fans that the only way BYU isn't in the B12 is if BYU rejects it??
I dunno, fellers, you think we might be in? Golly.

This time they want everyone to know that BYU rejected them?Originally posted by Viking View PostOh, I don't know. Maybe because they were rejected last time, stayed quiet in the press and they don't want the same outcome this time?
If I were a conference commissioner of a conference with stability concerns, I sure would want to publicize that a mid major school was so concerned about our future that they'd rather go it alone. At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I don't know. If you want BYU to join your conference, and they have been dicking around on the negotiations to the point you gave up at one point, and then their AD tells their fan base they never had an offer, it might be good strategy to get it out there that you wanted them. The fan base then goes nuts and tells Holmoe it's now or never, you mess this up, we never come back. This puts some pressure on Holmoe now. He can't mess this up and then make another announcement saying "sorry we never had an offer".Originally posted by ERCougar View PostThis time they want everyone to know that BYU rejected them?

That's the best evidence so far.Originally posted by Viking View PostThat TDAWGCOUG is not tweeting tells us all we need to know: BYU is getting invited.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
