Tell me all about this place, why don't you. I can't wait...Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Louisville would fit on the horn, as well, more or less.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostYes, Longhorn nation is almost complete but forget Louisville. We need Arkansas for the other ear...

Gee, BYU with non-football in the WCC. ND with non-football in the B12. Non-sunday play a non-issue in football.
ND de facto alliance for 6 games a year with B12, or roughly what will be half of the B12.
BYU/ND talking seriously about a longer term type arrangement in football as we speak.
Hmmm, Chip, what do you think is going to happen??
Oh yeah, BYU getting called by others right now. Your move, B12.Sorry, I don't mean to be like SU here, but LOL.B12 has one shot to take BYU here. If they don't, tudo bem, and we might be better off without the B12 anyway.Col. Klink: "Staff officers are so clever."

Gawd, I can't wait. Then we can all start making a freaking pile of money. Ya'll need to quit sweating the post-game replay small stuff and learn to play w/ Bevo. He'll make you some money and give you plenty of good football players:Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostYes, Longhorn nation is almost complete but forget Louisville. As I understand it, this should give us enough money to can Turner Gill and bring in Jack Del Rio. It's gonna be hell to sit through the broadcast, though. Turner makes everything about KU Football hell.

You want deets? Here's a morsel. I chat with a California contact most fridays, so have at it:
Unsurprisingly, BYU is being courted by the BEAST right now, who believes they can go to ten schools and preserve revenues.
This would include olympic sports, which given the BEAST is technically expanding, we can exit our WCC deal. It's a step up from indy, step up from the MWC, HUGE olympic sport step-up.
In addition, ND will sign a multi-year 1:1 with BYU. ND is not interested in the B12, from what I understand, but this sounds more like opinion than "info". It's not a fit for them, as it follows. ND is ND. They don't need anyone and are committed to the BEAST's strength.
I still think there's a chance non-olympic goes to B12 for ND. But this is an alternative route I'm relaying.
West Division:
BYU
BSU
AFA
HOU
SMU
East Div:
Cincy
UCF
RU
UCONN
UL
I still think B12 picks BYU but they will lose out unless they move. I think the B12 guys are smart enough to know this, but I also know that BYU isn't going to sit around.
Odds? Only a little more than 50% in favor of the B12, ultimately. BEAST is very likely, but less than 50%Last edited by Viking; 10-28-2011, 11:48 AM.

BEast revenue sucks. Isn't it like 2 million a year? Indy revenue is way better than that.Originally posted by Viking View PostYou want deets? Here's a morsel. I chat with a California contact most fridays, so have at it:

So, you prediction is 55% BYU to Big 12 and 45% BYU to the BEast?
Bold. Thanks for throwing that out there.

Be an atheist all you want, even a vocal one, I don't care.
