Well, ok... but they have the best damn marching band in college football!Originally posted by BlueK View PostReally? That's debateable.

The PAC-X should add them... The Rice MOB could start a show on the PAC-Network and turn things around for them."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

ESPN's Trotter: In terms of academics the Pac-X (with the notable exception of Cal, Stanford, and maybe UW) compares to OU:
http://www.espn.com/college-football...g-12-expansion"Except for Cal and Stanford and probably Washington, OU's average ACT and SAT scores were [comparable to] most of the existing Pac-12," Gaddie recalled. "But you look at that peer group, the Pac-12 gets this halo effect from Stanford and Cal, even though the programs are not that dissimilar from those in the Big 12."
It's not difficult to understand why academics this time around could especially play a key part in the event the Big 12 elects to expand.
The Big 12's academic reputation was gutted when Colorado, Nebraska, Texas A&M and Missouri all left the conference from 2010 to 2012. All four were American Association of Universities members at the time. As a result, the Big 12 has just three American Association of Universities members remaining in Texas, Kansas and Iowa State.
Stanford and Cal would fit right it in the Big 12 since they are all "not that dissimilar". SU couldn't have said it better himself.
There you go... just add BYU and Air Force and call it a day.U.S. News & World Report ranks another Big 12 expansion candidate, Brigham Young, as the No. 66 national university, just behind Georgia and just ahead of Texas A&M. It also ranks the U.S. Air Force Academy 30th in the liberal arts category."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

Isn't the Rice band violating the student body's safe place by brandishing those weapons? If so, Rice is out.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostWell, ok... but they have the best damn marching band in college football!

Maybe SU is even more prophetic than he knows--what if the day on which this thread becomes the largest on CUF is the day that "BYU fans' most fervent hopes and dreams" become reality?

Wait a minute, don't you think we should disqualify all of SU's posts in the thread?
