On the radio last week (Thursday or Friday?) DJ and PK had some "national" sports writer on from somewhere (wish I could remember his name).

They were specifically asking him about BYU and expansion. They guy starts out with something along the lines of "The first thing BYU has to decide is which conference they want to join. The MWC is looking at expansion..."

I had to turn it off at that point.

Seriously? He thinks BYU has any interest at all in returning to the MWC?

If they left out in this round of expansion? Yes

What a silly Weisenheimer (as my beloved grandmother used to say). I'd call him an idiot with no fucking idea about what he's mic-drunk-reading from the team rally session.

                      • Didn't expect anyone published in the SL Trib to go to bat and not just tell, but research BYU's side of the "difficult" story, but this is a pretty great piece here.

This misses the point--economic issues are not why BYU is "difficult," or probably more accurate, "impossible."

Good article, just don't read the comments. But that's pretty obvious since it's the SL Trib.

The article didn't even mention that BYU has yet to apologize for Mark E. Peterson's devotional talk!!!

                              • It is going to be sad to watch YO's testimony crumble simply because it was built on the shifting sands of B-12 realignment instead of the bedrock of independence.
