Walk-ons are good for the Scout team and getting destroyed on Thursday nights for the amusement of the Two-Deep.
    Criddle was solid. Hodgkiss.

What awards did Andrew Rich get last year? For the most part, when a walk-on has started for Bronco, it's because they were a genuinely good player who was better than several other scholarship players.

Andrew Rich had offers from Boise State and Cal and was promised (before walking on at BYU) that a schollie would be available in the Fall of '08. Good thing he came back after quitting over the Summer because Hill is an unbelievable Bastard.

Now that I really think about it, I'd love to have an entire Two-Deep on Defense comprised of Scott Johnson/Kellen Fowler/Ben Criddle/Corby Hodgkiss 100% Effort and garbage for measurables types.

Why was Van Noy running with the 1s all camp and now he just gets relegated to 3rd string...they need to find a way to get Van Noy on the field as a starter against Washington. I have a very hard time believing that a bunch of guys that couldn't beat out Bauman and Doman are very good or better than Van Noy.

I wonder if they have him on the same side as Pendleton because Jordan has been injured.

So if the bolded is really the case, then why does Bronco have him on his staff, including two "promotions" over that time period?

The point being made is that if a walk-on sees significant time for Bronco, they usually are valuable contributors. It's not like Bronco is failing to use 85 scholarships so he can cram in a few more walk-ons to hit the 110 player limit.

You were making some sense until that statement right there. Very poor player.

I thought that the board powers requested that we refer to sarcasm as "dripping"

Give it time. The situation with Hill will eventually go off like Eyjafjallajökull. How many fights has he gotten into with his players? How many times has one of his players openly criticized him to the media? How many parents of players hate him as well?

No they're not. It simply means gang-bangs + BYU + National Media = destruction of depth in the Secondary and opportunities for Utah County superheroes.

Not to worry, Bronco finally figured out JC DB's are the only way to go at BYU. With the current overall Defensive depth and talent, combined with the incoming JUCO's, by this time next year nobody will give two shits about the who's who of walk-ons that could break the two-deep.
