After the behavior of the former Rutgers basketball coach its no wonder the B1G extended a conference invitation to the school. This type of deplorable coaching behavior seems to be the norm in that conference. Delaney is probably just pissed the guy got fired.

It's important to try to fit in ... otherwise, you'll never make friends.

Looks like the new B1G Divisions are now official:

EAST
Ohio St
Michigan
Penn St
Michigan St.
Indiana
Rutgers
Maryland

WEST
Nebraska
Wisconsin
Iowa
Illinois
Northwestern
Minnesota
Purdue

Gone are Omaha 680's beloved Leaders and Legends division names. It's just East and West starting in 2014. Indiana-Purdue will be the only protected cross-over rivarly game. Starting in 2016, Big Ten will play a 9-game conference schedule. Every team will play each other at least every four years.

The West division got the shaft. If I'm Wisky or Nebraska, your season basically comes down to your game against the team you are not. The rest of the teams in that division are bad. Besides Iowa. They have had some good years before.

The best way I saw it phrased: Nebraska was just put in the B1G equivalent of the Big 12 North. I don't think Nebraska can be too happy about this.

The Twerps got what they deserve for leaving the ACC. They'll never have a chance of winning the conference title coming from that division. May they forever have losing seasons.

And they still manage to stick their finger in Michigan's eye. Now that they're done putting "the LEADERS and best" in the LEGENDS division, they stick "the champions of the WEST" in the EAST division. Lovely.
