Based on the given information, I'm disappointed in Coach Rod. I wish him luck at UW, and I'm confident Coach Schramm can get the job done at Utah.

I hate that utefans has been overrun by idiots. I also can't help but laugh at some of the things they say. One of these MENSA type poster went ballistic in a boardmail to me a while back because I pointed out that his life must be awfully pathetic if his happiness is dependant on what other people do when performing their employment duties, particularly an offensive coordinator of a college football team.

I have no doubt that Sark can be one of the best. I was hoping that Al Davis would have hired him as HC a few years back. Now I am glad that he didn't. Though I guess he could be at Tennessee now if he had taken it.

I never begrudge a person doing what he or she thinks is best for the career. But Roderick is taking a big risk. No doubt Washington and the Pac 10 are more exalted than the U of U in many ways; the MWC is still a backwater. But he's leaving one of the top coaches in the country (everyone agrees except some here and almost all of CB) for an unproven head coach who's very young. I root for the Huskies and wish Sarkisian success. But Sarkisian needs to win big or this may be a career set back for Roderick. 10-3 won't cut it. Husky fans want undefeated seasons, vanquishment of USC, and a return to domination over the Ducks or they'll be making another change in 3-5 years.
