So Tim Tebow failed his Wonderlic Test. What is to blame? Genetics, homeschooling, religion, other (please explain) or a combination of the these factors?

Is the test multiple choice and is there a penalty for wrong guessing?

Has anyone ever taken a wonderlic test? is it available online?
Per this snippet from espn, tebow should actually be happy about his score
According to the Post, the average Wonderlic score for an NFL quarterback is 24. The newspaper also reported that the quarterback prospects in Mel Kiper Jr.'s latest rankings on ESPN.com -- Sam Bradford of Oklahoma (36), Colt McCoy of Texas (25) and Jimmy Clausen of Notre Dame (23) -- scored higher than Tebow.
To put those scores in perspective, the Post compared Wonderlic numbers of run-of-the-mill NFL quarterbacks such as Alex Smith (40) and Matt Leinart (35) to those of Pro Football Hall of Famers Dan Marino and Jim Kelly (both 15) and an established star such as Donovan McNabb (14) of the Philadelphia Eagles.Fitter. I'm pretty sure whoever wrote this espn article is a gold-level member of the Tebow fan club.

I'm not surprised about Dan Marino's score. He is dumb and unstable:Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostHas anyone ever taken a wonderlic test? is it available online?

So if you're Vince Young and you only score a 4, not only are you stupid because you only got 4 out of 50 correct, but you are also stupid for failing to Christmas tree the remainder of the bubble sheet to at least avail yourself of the binomial distribution.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostMultiple choice and a time limit.

ESPN had sample of it a few years ago.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostHas anyone ever taken a wonderlic test? is it available online?

Didn't Vince Young score like a 6 on it?"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Not quite the wonderlic, but I suppose the questions are similar. From what I recall of the ESPN sample the questions are alike.
The real wonderlic has 50 MC questions and you have 12 minutes to finish. Alex Smith scored a 40.

I think average is supposed to be around 20.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostWhat is a good score?Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

For QB's the average is 24. So really Clausen (23) and Tebow (22) didn't do horrible. Just a bit below average. But with Bradford scoring 36 it makes them look worse.Originally posted by pellegrino View PostI think average is supposed to be around 20."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

wow. I suppose as a test-taking strategy, it would make the most sense to skip the few questions that might require algebra and focus on the questions you can answer in a matter of a seconds. 12 minutes probably passes by quickly when you are under the gun like that.Originally posted by Surfah View PostNot quite the wonderlic, but I suppose the questions are similar. However, how is it possible for VY to have scored a 4 or 6 on that? That can't be true.
I wonder about the literacy level of any of these athletes when they leave college for the pros.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
