Corvalis....horrible. I've been to a game there. at one time, they still had chain link fence at one end of the stadium. It is a boring town, nothing to do there, nothing to see there, and not a great college atmosphere.

I do think it is a good game for BYU to schedule, though. I rank it as one of the worst P10 roadies, along with Pullman and Tucson.
The drive from my house to chip and dip stadium is probably less than from your house to the Coliseum.

No it is every year they come to Oregon, only in even number years they lose to the Beavos, odd years they lose to Oregon.

Nice. A trip to an area someone knows where the best courses are. Nearest airport I would guess is Portland. How far is Corvalis from Portland.

I actually lived in Corvalis as a kid from the age of 6 months to 2 years old. Yea, yea, I know the question. Was Corvalis even incorporated as a city then.

Portland to Corvallis is about 2 hours from Portland, maybe a little more depending on if you drive like Tick or scandel.

There is a direct SLC to Eugene flight, and I can set up a round of golf if we have enough interest. Eugene to Cornvalley is about 45 mins.

Yes! Now BYU just needs to spank them again so I can continue rubbing it in the face of my FIL and BIL.

90 minutes from Portland (closer to 2 hours from PDx). Portland has some great golf courses. It would be great to have a CUF golf outing at Pumpkin Ridge or if people really wanted to drive to BFE and pony up $$$ one of the Bandon courses.

47-20, 613 yards. No wonder Pete ran away with his tail between his legs. He was a defensive coach right? Yikes.

I looked and you can fly to Portland for $150. Eugene $460. Even if I wasn't taking "my three sons", with the new Obama "tax the middle class" policy I have to really watch my money.

Wow, my brother is flying in tonight for a ski weekend and he got Eugene for $200. Either way, I would be happy to try and set up a round somewhere.

Well, I didn't shop. I just went to Travelocity looked it up. There were cheaper flights, but I just hate going anything but straight through anymore.
