Whichever team that does that should have their entire front office fired.

Why shouldn't Jacksonville do this (take Tebow in 2nd round)? They need a QB and even if he were to fail his first year, wouldn't the hype (higher attendance, purchased jerseys, media) be worth it?

If it were an epic fail, they could just get Heaps when he enters the draft next year.

Honest question here. How much of his evaluation (for you or the experts) is on the field stuff and how much is off the field. It seems to me that his off the field stuff impacts his on the field evaluation.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Philly takes him i the second round as an added offensive weapon. Nobody thinks that Tebow will go to the NFL strictly as a QB, but I would be willing to bet he throws a TD pass as a rookie next year. If he's brought into the right team and right system, they'll find a way to use him. He's a "gamer."

The Senior Bowl selection committee believes in the plan of salvation, including repentance. Blount will probably be a 2nd round pick, I remember CMBF's hero Todd McShay using typical ESPN hyperbole saying that Blount was no longer draftable after BSU.

I heard Blount hurdled some people into the end zone.

His off the field stuff will play into the evaluation but I don't think it can over come his on field abilities that are bringing him down. As good as Tebow was at Florida running an offense that is built 99% around him, he doesn't look like he what scouts want to see and I think it showed this week and today.

I thought Koa Misi looked really good today. And he looked especially good playing his first game as a linebacker.

I think the proper term is "system quarterback." One of the best ever in NCAA, to be sure, but not going to play in the pros - even as a backup. His mechanics are simply too screwed up. NFL DE's will eat is slow wind-up-and-delivery for lunch...

I certainly think Tebow will struggle to make the transition, but he seems to have a hair more athleticism than some of his predecessors at Florida.

Who would you take out of college? Tebow or Alex Smith?

I don't think he is fast enough. I guess we will see what he runs at the combine.

I read today that they tested 40s on Monday and Tebow ran a 4.82. Decent for a qb but not for any other position. Granted maybe he has not worked on his speed work in a while and he could potentially get in to the 4.7s.

Misi was solid so was Daryl Washington. Misi actually looked tiny out there, you would not think he played D-end in college.
