Great programs lose guys early to the pros all the time. They take this in stride and in fact develop a program and recruiting regimen that anticipates it and uses it as a selling point in recruiting. It's no accident Utah signed a great DE prospect yesterday.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostLosing your best defensive lineman doesn't solve any problems. They take this recruiting stuff seriously at the school regionally recognized as the U, so much so they start signing players weeks before other programs.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostIt's no accident Utah signed a great DE prospect yesterday.Get confident, stupid

I'm not predicting doom and gloom. I will never be worried about the defense when Whittingham is at Utah. However, it is ridiculous to claim that this is a good thing to lose Kruger early. I doubt any of the signings this year have anything to do with Kruger declaring. In fact, I would be scared to death if we were relying on any freshman DTs or DEs next year.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostGreat programs lose guys early to the pros all the time. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
