what this boils down to is how badly Utah fan still suffers from LBS.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostYou hit the nail on the head every team in the country but Utah is overrated. Way overrated and they dont belong on the same field as Utah. Utah is clearly the most superior team in the history of college football.
All this chest thumping for respect over a very legitimate top 3 finish. Yawn.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Perhaps those games were on any given Saturday for New Mexico, Air Force and Weber State."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Correction. Florida proved it is the BCS champions.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostFlorida just held the most prolific offense in college football history, over 700 points on the season, averaging 35 points per game in the first half, 60 points in 5 straight games, to 14 points!
Do you not realize how impressive that is? You are looking very ignorant and have the red goggles on very tight right now.
Utah scored 13 against New Mexico for hells sakes, I could only imagine what they would do to Floridas D.
This was a good game by two very good teams, not sure how you can dispute that. Florida proved that they are the national champs.

It depends. Is it the Utah team that played New Mexico, Air Force, Weber, or the team that played Alabama? If it was the Utah team that played Alabama, then yes I would expect them to win by more. If it is the Utah game that I saw the other 4 or 5 times I watched them, honestly, no.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostAnswer this question, honestly and truthfully. This is when I knew the game was lost. After that I just watched to see whether it would even be close.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postps I think this game can be summed up by going back to the first half and watching Florida with that goal line stand, keeping OU at bay on a 3rd and goal, then a 4th and goal. As you pointed out, that is the beauty and ugliness of college football. The difference between us and everyone else is that all anyone can do to diminish us is point to ugly wins. Everyone else has to explain a loss.Originally posted by il Padrino Ute View PostWhich was the true Utah team?

if he were smart. Just like the Sooners failed to capitalize on two first-and-goals, this was definitely a missed opportunity for some serious, um, "consolation."
<Barbara walks in from watch party, an hour after the game ends>
Flash: "Oh, wow, is the game already over?"
Barbara <rolls eyes>: "No dear, I left at halftime."
Flash: "So, did OU win?"
Barbara: "Do I LOOK like we won?"
