The highest BYU had ever been ranked in the AP with 2 or more losses prior to this year was 13th in 1981.
I believe they were 10th in USA Today in 1994 with 3 losses. -

This probably isn't the ideal thread for this, but it works.
I find it interesting that only one of the five MWC bowl teams were favored to win their bowl games. And the one favored to win was the only one to lose. Vegas was 0-for-5 in predicting the MWC.Comment
