I have a feeling that Ohio State is going to win this game.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I am really happy Bowden went out a winner and kept another winning season intact.

Also that now makes BYU opponents 5-0 in the post season with TCU still to play. Pelagius, how much more did FSU's victory today improve BYU's SOS?

Nice win for FSU. Not only does it make BYU's lone ooc loss a little less head-scratchingly irritating (though it is still very head-scratchingly irritating), it leaves only ONE conference without a bowl game loss.

          Here's to the MWC.

For the first time this bowl season I am cheering for a Little 11 team. Go Spartans. I hope Texas Tech gets their A$$ handed to them this evening.

Ruffin. I think he was the DC.

I heard Michigan State has like ten starters out, though.

That blows for them. I am still cheering for them though.

These announcers for the Michigan State/Texas Tech game will not shut up about the Leach firing. Also, they have nothing good to say about Leach and keep talking about James being abused. Stupid.

guess it was only a few starters. Still, bad timing...

you know, I think it's interesting that both of the coaches fired under ignominious circumstances - Mangino and Leach - were hired from OU.

exactly! I'm just waiting for somebody to hire Venables so we can see what kind of headlines he can make. I'm convinced that one of these days his head is going to explode on the spot.
