They haven't. They shut down Pitta. Which was why BYU couldn't convert on 3rd down.

Did you just see the arizona line lay down? Three huskers met at the UofA QB while his o line just fell on the ground.

Obviously Arizona didn't want to be there. They can't get up for a Big 12 game with Nebraska like they can BYU.

The next textbook they write on playing defense, this game will be exhibit A. Holy smokes what a performance.

Nebraska owned that game, and with a 1 game schedule against Texas in Lincoln next year looks like a BCS game with a possible NC game in the future for Bo.

Arizona was part of a 3 way tie in the P10 for second. I am officially worried about the Rose Bowl now.

Why would a Big 12 fan want to denigrate Arizona after a game like that? I don't get it. It's puzzling.

If only Nebraska had an offense (against teams that have a defense at least).

                      LOL.

SU, tell us again how tough the PAC-10 is this year and how the Big 12 is so lucky they didn't have to play those tough PAC-10 teams week in and week out.

It would be at least a two-game schedule, as Nebraska (in your scenario) would have to play in the Big 12 title game, too.

If they go 11-1, with their only loss being Texas in mid-October, they can lose the B12 title game by 56 points and still go to a BCS game. They can lose it by 28 and still go to the NC game.

Don't be ridiculous. A two-loss team Big 12 team isn't going to the national title game against another Big 12 team.

Bo Pellini looks like he was a great hire for Nebraska. Now he just needs to get an OC and a QB that knows what the hell they're doing. College football is better off with a good Nebraska program (and Notre Dame).
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
