I'm sure Unga watched Aisata score that TD right up the throat of that vaunted ALabama DL and then eat up that clock with his sneaks, and ate his heart out. I think Unga would reverse what he did if he could go back in time. I also think he'd be a lot better player. He's only declined since last year.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostIf it wasnt for Kyles reaction to Ungas fake commitment, Kyle would have Harvey right now. Then again I dont think he makes that same mistake now.
But I'd rather have Asiata, because I don't think any coach would trust Unga to do the things Asiata was doing the night before last. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

I swear you're acting like this is the first football season you've ever watched. Suddenly we can't trust Unga?At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

13 carries for 34 yards is stellar. Good job Asiata. I bet Unga wishes it was his leg that was snapped in the first game against OSU as well.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostI'm sure Unga watched Aisata score that TD right up the throat of that vaunted ALabama DL and then eat up that clock with his sneaks, and ate his heart out. SU, enjoy the excellent season by the Utah Utes. Enjoy the fantastic bowl victory. Let me know when you come back down to reality about this Sugar Bowl. Not sure if you are aware, but there is a sugar bowl winner every single year. See also, Rose, Fiesta, and Orange.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostMost people out there don't even know who won the last two MWC titles, and if you told them they'd forget. People will remember what Utah has done this year forever. I will run across people in all walks of life for years who will talk about this, if they follow football at all.
Unless I am misunderstanding, you are under the impression that this bowl was one for the ages. In fact, it will still likely be the second worst of the 5 in terms of TV ratings.
Have fun, but stay a little grounded.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

You're right--he's amazing. No way could Harvey have done that.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostTO play quarterback in that situation?
I guess you guys don't have QB issues next year.At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Taking direct snaps is not playing quarterback, though to the unknowing it might appear so.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostTO play quarterback in that situation?Last edited by Donuthole; 01-04-2009, 09:21 PM.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

Also, of course, it matters a lot that this is the second time Utah has done this. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Just so you know Utah had the worst rushing game of any Alabama opponent this season.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostThis article summarizes most of the key poinst well:
