My favorite time of the year: how the coaches voted in the final USA Today poll

    Utah:
Highest-Rich Brooks and Dan Mullen (16th)
Lowest-Larry Fedora and Charlie Weis (24th)
(edit: multiple coaches didn't rank Utah, including Gary Andersen)

    BYU:
    Highest-Mike Sanford (10th)
    Lowest-Paul Wulff (23rd)
(some Cougar envy from the Wazzou HC, methinks)

    TCU:
    Highest-six coaches had them 2nd
Lowest-Rick Stockstill, Dwayne Walker, and Ron Zook (5th)

    Boise St:
Highest-Robb Akey, Gary Andersen, and Ron Zook (3rd)
    Lowest-Gary Pinkel (9th)

Interesting Chris Peterson had TCU 2 and BSU 4.

I guess it is a sign of honor that Patterson didn't vote TCU 1. Maybe he was worried about not getting a chance to vote in the future.

I guess you don't have to be a coach to vote in the coaches poll. Interesting.

Zook has Boise at 3 and TCU at five? It's no surprise that guy sucks wherever he goes. What a maroon.

Zook's competencies are in recruiting. Coaching, personnel decisions, and player decisions are all beyond him.
