    So long College GameDay 2009

I think I look forward to this weekly show almost as I look forward to the games. They always do great stories, they have fun, they are fun to watch. With Corso's stroke last year, I have to realize that the show won't go on forever and that will be a sad day for me.

Every Saturday my boys and I get doughnuts and then come home and I tell them what mascots Corso is going to pick from, they love it, I love it. Thanks for a great year, I hope you are back next year.

I think CGD will exist beyond Corso, but I'm not sure if they'll have someone else perpetuate that tradition of putting on the mascot head.

I agree, this is the first year I've really made a point to watch it, and it's great theatre.

Mark Mangino is looking for work, he'd be great on there. "I like Texas in this game, the Aggies are a bunch of Sallys."

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

"Herbstreit, that Oregon pick was just as good as your NFL career."

"Corso, did you mean to take Wisconsin, or is that just the stroke talking?"

We've been doing it for about 6 years now. We did it down in Provo when I was still there and it has lived on too this day.
