I kind of thought that Atkinson would move to ILB for next year. I figured he would be the 4th ILB with Beck, Ogletree and Leing Wei. I figured the OLBs would be Pendleton, Nelson, Van Noy and Austin Jorgenson. Of the 8 that will be 2 SRs, 2 JRs, 3 Sophs and 1 true freshman. The two worst athletes would be the seniors. That is a lot of youth and there will be struggles early but the LB direction is heading in a similar direction it was in 2004 that resulted in 2 years of good LB play and then 2 years of stellar LB play.

The only true freshman I see playing next year is Van Noy. He has the most athleticism, will be here for spring and is not planning on a mission. I think Stout plays special teams and Keoishian redshirts to learn the 11 man game.

I could see Keoshian being a huge surprise I know he only plays 8 man football but have you see his highlights and measurables?

His junior year he rushed for 2258 yards and 32 tds, had 169 tackles, 8 ints, had 20 receptions for 388 yards. Was 23-38 passing for 349 yards and 3 more tds, averaged 32 yards per kick off return and scored 45 total touchdowns.

Senior year: 98 carries for 1042 yards (10.62 ypc) and 21 tds, scored 31 total tds, averaged 9.5 tackles per game. (was injured partway through the year).

He is 6'2 225 pounds and has an electronic timed 4.5 40. He may redshirt but I think BYU might have a diamond in the rough here.

I think you are right. This kid is a feakish athlete and would have been the best player in the SCV valley even if he had decided to play for Hart, Canyon, Valencia or Saugus.

It would not shock me at all if he plays. He is extremely physically gifted.

It is my understanding that Pac 10 schools are all over this kid now.

Had the kid played at any of those high schools though we don't get him. And if he were at Valencia this year, they'd be in the running for a state title. They're having a great year. Go Vikings!

On a side note. Sorry DDD, my Vikings took down the Lancers in round 1 of CIF. However, you should be happy that the Lancers are ranked #14 in the Times preseason basketball and Nappers Pioneers are #15.

Running backs- depends 100% on Harvey, however we do have AJ Moore, Drew Phillips, Algernon Brown and please lord Josh Quezada potentially coming in.
Is he a better prospect than Phillips? I was just watching Phillips' highlight tape, and that boy is fast.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I agree about Phillips, but Quezada looks like he's for real.

That run starting at about 2:17 is insanely impressive on a variety of levels.

I'm not sure about the hair, though. That doesn't look honor code approved.

                    Rey Braithwaite.

Even Curtis Brown was fine getting to the corner.
