I think they are two great accomplishments done in different times and circumstances. They can not be compared.
I know.. I'm not trying to really compare the two, I just thought it was neat to see the 84 team receive that trophy at halftime. I can't wait to see it at Legacy Hall.
A team in Utah has a BCS national championship trophy? How? They've only been handing those out for 11 years.
They obviously didn't call it the BCS national championship trophy, but the 84 team was officially given the crystal (is it crystal? I don't know.. maybe just glass) football during halftime.

Sheesh, I was just messin. I thought it was cool that the 84 team got awarded the trophy.
The trophy was pretty cool, and I am happythat Lavell got to receive it. Much better than the Holiday Bowl trophy he got to hold in 84.
