I remember Mark Handy. He was from Ogden and was at a high schooler summer session at Utah State with me. He lived life at full speed. Belmont Anderson played at Skyline High when I was at Highland. I remember being pretty awestricken that he could dunk the ball as a 6'3" white guy. Good times.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostDoug Richards and (I think) Belmont Anderson. That team included a Gifford Nielsen that quit later to try his hand at football, and Mark Handy, the team's center who thought he could buy some booze at the state liquor store without being noticed. Not sure where to put this, but I'll just drop it right here. LOL. It's Derik Stevenson, former BYU LB who graduated the same year as me.

I hate pictures where they cut people's legs and/or feet off.
C'mon folks, we can do better than this.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
