Sanford has only 15 wins in his five seasons, and only 1 of those wins was against a team that finished with a winning record: Utah in 2007. Last year he beat Arizona State which finished 5-7, and his other 13 wins are all against teams that finished 4-8 or worse.

My guess is that they have a lot of top talent lined up to take Sanford's job.
Who wouldn't want to coach football at UNLV?Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Every time a coach gets fired at SDSU or UNLV, the questions of "why can't a coach win here" come up. It'll be interesting to see who they go after...perhaps the guy at Idaho? Or Terry Bowden perhaps? Worked with Lon Kruger...Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostMy guess is that they have a lot of top talent lined up to take Sanford's job.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

No offense, But I can't imagine the UNLV faithful are too excited about the prospect of another Utah coordinator.Originally posted by Fiyero View PostEasy on the trigger.
