Utah still ahead of BYU in the BCS

standings. A bit surprising. BYU fans were hoping to jump up 3 or 4 spots? Based on what? Good looks?

Utah is fortunate to only drop 5 with the drubbing they took.

BYU has a quality win though and Utah doesn't. I could argue on both sides of who should be ahead of who. Will be settled in a couple of weeks.

          SDSU will beat the Utes?

Is the win over OU still considered a quality win? I'm asking because I honestly don't know, though I tend to think it should be.

Given who they are, where it was played and when it was played, I consider it a quality win. Maybe not a big quality win.

I tend to think it should be too. I think the fact that Bradford got injured should not be held against BYU. But stuff happens.

I'm sick to death of these discussions. The Holy War can't start too soon. Let's see if BYU can win this last game for Max Hall, with a seasoned team including All MWC three year starting qb experiencing their richly earned destiny, against our green rebuilding team. May the best team win! I make no predictions.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I agree with this. I get a little annoyed when I hear people say "Team X hasn't beaten anyone currently in the top 25" or variations on that theme. It assumes that a team stays the same during the season when they don't. How many BYU teams started strong but then went flat or started out struggling and ended playing great? If a team is ranked, it usually means that the team is pretty good (note that I said "usually"). I think Oklahoma was a quality win. It's not as if BYU was getting blown out then came back after Bradford was injured, and it's not like Bradford injured himself during warmups or by tripping over his own feet.
                      Not that, sickos.

I've asked this before with no answer -- is this Bronco's best win as a HC?

Most likely. Someone pointed out he is 2-5 in 'big' games. Who was number 2?
