That reminded me of last Friday night. I went to the Provo-Timpview game, thinking it might be worthwhile. It was literally over on the Timp's 2nd play. Anyways the Provo cheerleadering coach is either a tranny or a prostitute or possibly both. Seeing a 5'11" woman with caked on make-up, leopard stretch pants, and a fake fur coat talking to the cheerleaders wasn't what I expected from the Bulldogs. Interesting enough she did leave with an older gentleman.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostI re-read the article. I may not be BYU71 after all. Apparently the fan in question was with a woman.

I was also surprised at the Collingsworth kid. I have never seen him play, but I expected him to look bigger than he does. He reminds me of Jackson Emery, looks like a taller than average priest quorum 1st assistant.

Now that is funny. The man whose avatar started a tempest in a teapot, has the daily universe blocked. That made me laugh out loud.Originally posted by byu71 View PostCrap, my company has this site blocked. I will have to read it when I get home. I trust you aren't making fun of me DDD.

They have the Bob Jones University school paper blocked. We are a Canadian company and they are pretty sensitive about intolerance and not letting others express their views.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostNow that is funny. Does Collinsworth play FB? Or did you just see him in the crowd?Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostThat reminded me of last Friday night. I just sat by him in the crowd. He was pretty quiet kid, but carried himself like he knew who was the alpha-dog @ PHS. I've heard he is a good student and and great kid. I think he was a good get for Rose.Originally posted by jay santos View PostDoes Collinsworth play FB? Or did you just see him in the crowd?

Quiet dignity. I like it. I like it a lot. It's the same way I carry myself at all times.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostI just sat by him in the crowd. OK, I have gotten home and am able to read the article. Honestly, it wasn't me, unless the lady is offended by an occasional, dang it!!
AS a matter of fact years ago when BSU was stomping us in LES, I was the spokesman for a group of fans and asked the ushers to kick out some BSU fans who were using the F word and occasionly used it in the same sentence with mormons.
The ushers response. Just ignore them. We don't want to cause an incident.

Wow, the DU now allows comments on the opinion letters. That would have been fun when I was at BYU."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
