Utah is set up to compete better in the SEC than BYU and I think at best, they finish 8-4. 9-3 if they get some really lucky breaks.
With Florida's schedule, they'd be 10 win teams, at least.

You are probably right. They really showed me how well they compete on a the road against powerhouse CSU. Going into SEC teams backyards is a breeze compared to Ft. Collins.

None of those SEC road games would be played in well below freezing temps.

And that only effected the Utes right?

Edit: let's throw in that powerhouse that plays in San Jose. Wasn't it tied going into the 4th quarter. Impressive. Utah, TCU, BYU and Boise St. do not win 10 games with an SEC schedule.

TCU would have the best chance this year.

No, but it does even the playing field a bit. Kind of like 2003 BYU vs. Utah where BYU was spared an embarrassing blowout loss because of the weather.

I agree about the SEC as a whole, but Florida's road schedule includes two of the easiest SEC stadiums to go to in Kentucky and Miss St.

LSU's schedule, which includes trips to Athens, Tuscaloosa, and Oxford, is much more menacing.
