No clue what is going on there. Especially since he was getting first team reps all pre-season and camp and playing pretty well. Rumor he refused to play special teams, but his agent denied that. That's about all I have heard in Redskins land.

Well he was only getting first team reps because Suggs was out. But he is listed as the backup to Suggs. He does not seem like he has a special teams build, not fast enough for kickoff units, not a good enough blocker for return units.

Never in the brief history of the Ravens has there been so much interest in one rookie not suiting up for games. Kruger has talent. He had a decent training camp and preseason, but he isn't better than the guys in front of him. Nope, he's not better than Terrell Suggs, Antwan Barnes, Trevor Pryce, Dwan Edwards or Jarret Johnson. Face it, that's a deep and talented gang of players ahead of him.

I don't follow the Ravens enough to know if the beat writer is just being a smart-ass (I doubt he is), but If not, interesting that Baltimore used a 2nd RD pick on Kruger's position if they're so loaded there.
