Rampage pulls out of fight with Rashad.

So that he can play B.A. Baracus in The A-Team movie.

    WTF?

I'm guessing the fight will eventually happen, but the scheduled December tilt that follows TUF Season 10 isn't going to happen now.

According to reports, the proposed UFC 107 fight between The Ultimate Fighter coaches Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans will be delayed due to Jackson’s role in an upcoming movie...

No surprise to me. He went on TUF to avoid fighting Machida which was a pussy move in the first place. Dana is right, this guy is not interesting in fighting right now.

I am of the opinion that Machida would have wiped the canvas with him, but I am a known Machida homer.

How bout Rashad coming down in weight a bit to take on Anderson Silva as a Light Heavyweight?

I've no idea if that would work, but just trying to think of replacements.

You mean as a middleweight or am I confused?

I thought Anderson fought as a Light Heavyweight against Forrest Griffin?

And it's my understanding that Rashad Evans is a Heavyweight....thus him coming down in weight to fight Anderson Silva.

            Maybe not.

I get the weight classes confused all the time.

              You're right.

Silva went up for that fight. That's why they're trying to get Machida and him to fight.

The Spider went up to fight as a LHW to fight Griffin. Usually he fights as a middleweight.

Rashad is a LHW, as is Rampage.

Rashad is a LHW, as is Rampage and Forrest. Anderson is the champ at 185 or middleweight. He went up to 205 to fight Forrest. Dana said if Vitor Belfort beats Rich Franklin (they are fighting at a catch weight of 195) he will get a title shot against Anderson Silva.

That will be an interesting fight with Franklin and Belfort. Belfort has two fights in 2 years. I think Franklin wins, but he's going to have to not get caught and weather a few early barrages. Franklin by decision.

Meh.....you know I'm not an Anderson Silva fan (though I acknowledge how great he is), and he would destroy Belfort.

Rampage is now done with the UFC and doesn't want to fight anymore:

Rampage is in a movie. Rampage then gets awful reviews because he really is a dumbass and can't act. Rampage then returns to the octagon because he knows he won't make money elsewhere. I can see it now.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
