    Roethlisberger rejects settlement offer

    The Plaintiff offered him a deal wherein he would admit to raping her (like he would ever do that), formally apologize, and pay $100,000 to a charity helping women who've been abused. Of course he scoffed at the offer. he apparently made an offer earlier that she drop her charges in exchange for him dropping his extortion claim against her and her attorney. I wasn't aware that Roethlisberger that sued her attorney too.

    I'm a bit confused - no surprise, I know - but this sounds like the plaintiff is treating this a a civil suit. Did it get rejected as a criminal case?

      I don't know whether any criminal charges have been filed (I don't think they have been). This is a civil suit.
