(WWTTD) What Would Tim Tebow Do?

A minor league team in Florida, the Fort Myers Miracles (yes, the Miracles) held a "What Would Tim Tebow Do?" themed promotion night.

UF got wind of it and issued an injunction of some sort, citing infringement of NCAA whoremongering.

So the Miracles changed the promotion to "What Would T.T. Do?"

Apparently, one of the giveaways was a promise ring for everyone in attendance. There was also a mid-game stunt where a guy tried to walk on water.
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

This minor league team is ripping off the idea from Star Trek, Harry Potter and Star Wars conventions from across the country.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

At least it would have been a safe night to bring your daughter to.
