Roenick was always one of my favorite players in the NHL. I became an NHL fan when he was with the Blackhawks and Chelios, Belfour, and Roenick were my 3 favorite players. I also liked Roenick even after he left Chicago because it was clearly the organization that screwed him over. Roenick is one of the best Americans ever to play the game.

Which is actually how I became a Blackhawks fan in the first place. I always played with Chicago because Roenick was unstoppable.

The concussions he suffered in Philly really short-circuited his career. He did really well for himself, but he could have been that much better.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't sign a contract with TSN by the end of the week.
