    Mark Buehrle

The SI story on his perfect game triggered my memory on the fact that no one mentioned that he followed that up by retiring the first 17 in his next game. Add that to his previous starts and he retired 47 concecutive batters, a new record. Congrats to Mr. Buehrle.

    Buerhle's a stud.

And speaking of stud pitchers, I guess Cliff Lee did okay in his first start with the Phils. Cliff Lee isn't quite Roy Halladay in terms of a guy who has done it over a long period of time, but for right now, he may be just as good. For the Phils to get him without giving up Brown, Drabek or Happ, that's a pretty big deal, IMO.
    I'm like LeBron James.

Definitely a great trade for the Phils.
