      I saw Doc pitch yesterday here in Seattle. That doesn't add much to this thread, but I just figured I'd mention it.

              It was rumored but I guess the Sox officially offered it. They were having a hard time parting with Buchholz.

                  ESPN yesterday was reporting that the Red Sox had hangups about trading an outfielder named Ryan Westmoreland, but were willing to part with Bucholz and prospects other than Westmoreland.
