    Vick partially reinstated....

I think Goodell is an idiot, why should Vick have to sit out 6 more games? I guess Roger will decide by October 16th whether or not Vick will receive full reinstatement from the NFL.

I agree with TO the players union needs to step in, Vick has paid his debt to society he missed 2 years from the NFL why should he have to sit out another 6 games?

The punishment Vick receives is an absolute joke in comparison to what happened with Donte Stallworth or Pacman Jones. How many chances did Pacman get?

I agree, or how about Plaxico Burress who shot himself in the leg, yet he is suspended indefinitely.

Seriously, what a dick! The guy has missed 2 years and been in jail for that time. What is an arbitrary 6 more months by the NFL going to prove ?

Goddell seems to be hedging his bet here...but I agree, let the guy play and be chased around bythe Leonard Little's and Ray Lewis' of the world...who also did not pay anywhere near the price for their crimes that Vick paid.

But he killed dogs...which of course is more egregious than killing a human in the eyes of some really warped individuals.

Which one of the teams is willing to step to the plate and even take a chance on him when he has not been playing football, much less NFL caliber football?

I would think at best he would be a good backup for at least a season while getting his playing legs back, maybe the rest of his career.

The man has served his debt to society, a hell of allot more than some of the previous mentioned thugs, let him get in there and get waxed by the pros.
Let's get on with the gettin' on....

He doesn't have a right to play in the NFL though.

If he was a Stockbroker and did something bad, they wouldn't have to renew his license.

I've always liked Clinton Portis' stance on the issue. "I mean...huntin is legal."
