Another boring Stanley Cup Playoffs

I love playoff hockey. I tune in at this time of the season except for an occasional Knights or Sharks game during regular season."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."
Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Where is a good site to find these stats?Originally posted by Flystripper View PostDuring the regular season TB was 11th CORSI for and 10th CORSI %. Mitigating their only slightly above average puck possession during the regular season was their incredible special teams. They were number one in power play % and in penalty kill %. During the post season their special teams when to shit. They only killed off 50% of penalties and converted on only 16.7% of their power plays, which is atrocious."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

I actually like to search the stats using 5-on-5 Close as the situation. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

What does this mean for the Knights?

The Knights are a good puck possession team. Good puck possession teams are the teams that generally win the Stanley Cup. Despite the Blackhawks having a great record in 2017, the puck possession numbers were ugly and the flame out in the playoffs was expected.Originally posted by Topper View PostGotta learn how to read Hockey stats. What does this mean for the Knights?
3rd in CORSI% 5on5 Close.
2nd in FF% 5on5 Close
PDO is at 26th in the league. That is actually a good sign to be near the bottom of the league in PDO. It demonstrates that the team has been less luck dependent.
While the Knights have great puck possession, San Jose is above them.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

That Jets / Blues game last night was bananas. Winnipeg scores 14s in to start the game then adds a second goal not long thereafter. The home Canadian crowd is going bonkers. The rest of the 1st and the entire 2nd play out scoreless. The Blues get 3 in the third, including the game winner with 30s left. Canadians then drove home in their square-wheeled vehicles, opened their boxes of faith and ate their Kraft dinner, and commiserated at the tree in Edmonton. The road team has won every game in this 3-2 series.Last edited by HBCoug; 04-19-2019, 11:44 AM.

Marchand is a Dirty Cheap Shot Coward. At least have the cajones to stick around instead of running behind your player and straight to your bench.

haha you are just now getting acquainted with the little ball of hate? He is annoying more than anything and his licking of players is legendarily funny. His actual dirty stuff, while uncalled for, does not approach the level of dirty of the now retired and hope he has CTE Raffi Torres.Originally posted by dabrockster View PostMarchand is a Dirty Cheap Shot Coward. You employ Raffi Torres, which the Blue Jackets did, you indefinitely lose all rights to ever complain about dirty play from other teams.Originally posted by Flystripper View Posthaha you are just now getting acquainted with the little ball of hate? I would consider, only consider, any future Blue Jacket complaints if they did at the minimum the following:
1) Rename the arena to the Fuck You Raffi Torres Arena
2) Burn an effigy of Raffi Torres for a number of games equal to 2 times the games that he suited up for the team
3) Declare that if not for Raffi Torres hit on Marian Hossa in the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs that the Chicago Blackhawks would have won Lord Stanley's Cup in 2012.Last edited by MartyFunkhouser; 05-02-2019, 02:26 PM.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Just watched the video and that is barely anything to get worked up over. It wasn't going to cause a major injury. It was pretty typical scrum type stuff meant to rile up the other team. Again, your team employed Raffi Torres. You want to see real cheap shots and dangerous play just look of videos of him. I'm sure he did much worse while he was on the Blue Jackets.
I still can't believe Torres only got 21 games for his hit on Hossa. As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

Spare me this BS. He was a CBJ for just a year and was quickly traded. Hell, I think he was injured a good amount of that time.Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View PostJust watched the video and that is barely anything to get worked up over. 1 freaking year does not constitute your shit you are laying on CBJ.
While it was not bad, my main beef was him running like a little girl afterwards. Have some balls to throw the cheap shot and then take what comes after.
