  • Holliday to the Cards

Looks like Fat Albert is getting some protection in the line up this weekend.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Same thing goes for Funkytime. I don't want to hear his analysis on how this was probably the best trade baseball has ever seen.

I am just pissed because I traded Holliday a week ago in my fantasy league.

Great move. That gives us Rasmus, Ludwick, and Holliday, with Ankiel as a defensive sub. DeRosa can play third until Glaus gets back (if he gets back), Lugo and Ryan will split time at SS, and play Schumaker at 2nd.

I'd like to see us add a starter to the back end of the rotation, but this will really help.

All I care about is Holiday was a net gain to the team. Trading Holiday got us more than we gave up.

Also, I like that it is clear that the Eric Chavez era is over in Oakland. Wallace is a top offensive prospect and I wouldn't be surprised if he is in the majors next year. No reason to bring him up this year though. Kevin Goldstein is very high on him saying he is a .400 OBP guy. The only major knock on him is his defense.
