Great move. That gives us Rasmus, Ludwick, and Holliday, with Ankiel as a defensive sub. DeRosa can play third until Glaus gets back (if he gets back), Lugo and Ryan will split time at SS, and play Schumaker at 2nd.

Also, I like that it is clear that the Eric Chavez era is over in Oakland. Wallace is a top offensive prospect and I wouldn't be surprised if he is in the majors next year. No reason to bring him up this year though. Kevin Goldstein is very high on him saying he is a .400 OBP guy.
