Per the Atlanta Journal Constitution they are close on a deal that sends Yuniel Escobar and some prospects to Oakland for Matt Holliday and Orlando Cabrera.

AJC shot down those rumors earlier this week. Ugh, that is a bad move for the Braves. Escobar is out hitting Holliday this year and to give up prospects also? I think both Holliday and Cabrera are FA's and Escobar doesn't come up for arbitration until after next season.
